Well, I will certainly be praying for the saf...Wow. Well, I will certainly be praying for the safety of the boys, for your family and kids as you adjust to saying goodbye so quickly, and for the grandparents taking care of them.<br /><br />The boys look adorable in that picture and your kids look so happy with them. We had a somewhat similar "short term placement" experience, but ours was just a one week respite. I blogged about it here: http://as-for-me-and-myhouse.blogspot.com/2011/04/week-with-skylar-and-ayden.html<br /><br />It's amazing how attached you get after such a short time! I found it sad and somewhat difficult to say goodbye to the 2 year old and 8 month old we had for a week. I think my biggest concern, was just their safety. I want them to be in a safe home. <br /><br />And like Tim and Wendy said, if the kids are crying, and it's hard for us as foster parents to say goodbye, then we've done our jobs.
